This experience is run with a partner from Epic Sicily’s hand-picked local network.
First you approach them calmly, stroke them, get to know them. Then you set off, carried at their pace, through the landscapes and silences of San Mauro Castelverde. Three formats: a one-hour ride around the village, half a day towards Monte Pirato, or the full day at the Gole di Tiberio (Tiberio Gorges), the canyon of the Pollina river, with the option of stopping for lunch.

- €65 per hour per horse, for all three formats: the total depends on the hours (from 1 to about 7)

Before you book
- Run by a local partner in the Madonie, confirmed on request
- Transport is not included: from Palermo the Madonie are about an hour and a half by road
- Insurance: to be confirmed when booking
- Cancellation: full refund up to 30 days before, 30% penalty from 29 to 15 days, 50% from 14 to 7 days, 100% from 6 days before and for no-shows
