An experience in Ileana's own home — a professional cook and Slow Food member — in her kitchen in Mondello, a few steps from the sea. Not a cooking school: a real Sicilian home, where you cook together and then sit down to eat.
The shorter format, for those who want to taste without cooking: a guided tasting of Palermo street food, with panelle fried live in front of you.
You'll taste crispy freshly made panelle, sfincione palermitano, boiled octopus and the other classics of the city's street tradition, each one introduced and explained. All served with a good Sicilian wine.
In summer the tasting welcomes up to 15 people, so it also works for a larger group. Available all year round.
