You set off from Case Grandi towards Valledolmo, a village on the slopes of Pizzo Sampieri overlooking wheat fields, vineyards and olive groves. Then 10 km on to the Gurfa Caves, an extraordinary rock-cut site whose chambers are thought to date back to 1500 BC. Back at the estate, a guided tasting of five wines and the estate olive oil.
